We will host a pumpkin carving event open to our family of churches on Tuesday, October 22 at Transitions Homeless Center. This event is open to anyone 18+, Midtown member or not. For the pumpkin carving, we will bring in pumpkins, tools and designs so that the residents can make jack-o'-lanterns. The event will last approximately two and a half hours. We are hosting this event to empower the residents of Transitions and have festive fun together, remembering that we are no different than the men and women in homeless situations in our city.
Please bring a snack to share. Also, if you are able, please bring a pumpkin to share with the transitions residents.
