We will host our Home Works Housing Blitz for our family of churches on October 21 from 8am to 4pm. Home Works Housing Blitz is a Saturday for us to serve through fixing homes for those who are unable to do the work themselves. We'll repair and improve multiple areas of homes that are owned by brothers and sisters that may be widows, elderly, or financially unable to afford necessary home repairs. We'll get to paint, perform various carpentry tasks, and improve the landscaping of their home.
This event is for all adults and is a great way to use your carpentry or painting skills to serve people in our city. Middle and high school students can accompany their parents. It will consist of landscaping, painting, interior home repair, and other home improvement needs. Volunteers can sign up for half day shifts if they can't make all day.
