We believe that it is extremely important to take some time to reflect and realize how good God has been to our church family. This past Friday our family gathered together to look back on what our Church has been through in the past year. There was a lot to celebrate--from changing both of our campus locations within a year, but still having LifeGroups double in size to over 800 people in LifeGroups since the past fall, seeing 45 people get baptized, and now having over 500 missionary members.
Near the end of the meeting, we prayed over our LifeGroup leaders and leaders-in-training as we prepare for more groups to be planted next fall. We also re-aired some ridiculous and awesome videos from the first few years of being a church, played Midtown trivia, acknowledged volunteers that truly went above and beyond with Service Ninja awards (someone who comes, serves, and leaves without being recognized), and celebrated what the Jesus has been doing in our church within the past year.
