You cannot tell the story of the early church without also telling the story of the presence, power, and work of the Holy Spirit. That was true then, and it’s just as true now.

Everything we want to see as Jesus’ people - salvation, changed lives, hope found, freedom, and healing received - ultimately is not the result of our planning and strategy. While those things and our faithfulness certainly play a part, they aren’t the ingredient that makes the whole thing move; God is.

As we step into a new year and a new season as a church, we want to start by coming to God for all we need and hope to see Him do. For 21 days (January 9, 2022, thru January 29, 2022), we aim to pray and fast individually and together as a church.

Check out the info below and join us as we come to one “who can do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us” for his glory in us and our world forever!

What does it mean to be The Church? Simply put, it means that we are a people who are following Jesus together, making His name known. But before we can make known His name, we must first be empowered by His Spirit. So for the next 21 days, our church will be working through the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting Guide as we abide with Jesus, fast together, and seek deeper dependency on Him so that we might make Him known more in our lives and in our city.

Instead of regular LifeGroup time, we’re asking LifeGroups across our family of churches to gather together each week to seek God’s renewal corporately. We hope to spend time praying and singing to the Lord while asking Him to let us see His Kingdom come here in Columbia. We pray God changes our hearts and the hearts of those in our city.

We’ll gather at our Downtown church on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and on Wednesdays, we’ll be at our Lexington church. We’re asking that you and your group choose one night each week to attend - ideally, on the night your group currently meets.

Please note that masks are required for all in attendance at Tuesday's and Thursday's Nights of Prayer and Worship taking place at our Downtown church and requested at Wednesday's Night of Prayer and Worship taking place at our Lexington church.
