At Kidtown, our goal is to provide each child with a loving, caring, and fun atmosphere in which they can learn about Jesus.

Kidtown is for birth to elementary age children during The Gathering each week.  We hope this will allow you to focus during worship, knowing your child is being exposed to Jesus in a kid friendly manner.

Kidtown is only offered at the first Gathering at both campuses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Kidtown located?

Earlewood Location: Kidtown is located at the lower level of the Church Building. When entering the building from the front entrance, you will proceed down the stairs to the left or right. At the bottom of the stairs you will find the Kidtown Check-In Table.  The Kidtown meeting space is directly ahead of Check-In. You are always more than welcome to visit the rooms where your child will be learning.

VISTA Location: Kidtown is located at the lower level of the State Museum. When entering the State Museum from the parking garage, you will proceed straight into the building to the Kidtown Check-In Table.  The Kidtown meeting space is directly to the left of Check-In.

What do I bring with me for my child?
If necessary, diapers, pacifiers, change of clothes, and bottle of milk, formula, juice, or water. To help us keep track, please label all personal items with your child's first and last names before arriving.

What happens when I arrive?
When you reach the Kidtown Check-In, you will be greeted by a Kidtown Volunteer.  There will be a sign-in sheet and an information card to fill out on your child. A name tag will be provided with an assigned number. You will receive a matching number to keep during The Gathering to turn in when you pick up your child.

What kind of activities will my child be doing?
Kidtown will provide age appropriate activities for all children.  We believe even our littlest ones can learn! All lessons are reinforced with songs, play, and supervised activities designed with the ability of the children in mind.

How can I volunteer at Kidtown?
There are many positions available where you can serve.  These include greeting families, teaching, set up and break down, and simply playing with the children.  Also, please know that ALL Kidtown volunteers are missionary members and must go through a S.L.E.D. background check.  For more information on how you can be involved or if you have any question you can contact Morgan Furr .
